To start off our unit we talked about how food gets stuck in our teeth as we eat it.
As the kids picked food out of our basket we added play dough to our model teeth.
Once we had "eaten" most of the food, it was time to brush them clean.
The kids also practiced flossing on our model teeth.
We talked about our smiles and keeping them bright. They made big smiles and big tooth brushes for arts and crafts.
