Super Hero Unit

 

We learned about all 5 of our Super Senses beginning with our EARS. 

 

The kids sorted our super power pom poms that represent all of the traits of a Super Hero.

Safe-  Clean-  Brave- Kind- Helpful- Respectful

 Baby Preston Rolled Over!

 We learned about our Super EYES

 We built a wall with our Super Hero Traits

 And then knocked em' down!

 They used team work to build brick walls

 They practiced being Super Friends

 And finally learned how to fly!

We read a book called the Gingerbread cowboy and made our own Gingerbread Cowboys.

The kids have been fun watching the our messy chickens

Our final water day!

Vincent discovered ice cream body paint.

We finished off the summer with a Rodeo

We started with decorating cupcakes

And then horse races

The kids took turns dressing up as cowboys and racing around the trampoline

If you haven't heard your kids sing the old Disney song "A Cowboy Needs A Horse," you've got to look it up. So cute!

 

Preston watched the whole thing :)

We finished our day off with an old fashioned sawdust hunt.
